Grade 11
Rowley Movie Posters
These were all of the movie posters that i made for the CAPA 10s, 20s, and the VAM 10s movies, this was one of our main goals for the rowley trip as we had time inbetween the filming process. In the end all of the VAM 20s had made around 5 posters, the CAPA students then get to pick their favourite one that they want to be the actual poster.
Some drawings from class

Graphic T-shirt prints
in class, we got the opportunity to design our own t-shirt prints on adobe illustraighter, My design Had a very small reference to the 5 Seconds of Summer song "outer space/carry on" as the right on the print is one or two lines of the lyrics. these were all then printed out and we got to pick any colour of shirt to add the print too, i decided on a light blue t-shirt so that the plant, stars, and writing will stand out.
TRC Graphic
This piece of digital work was made for a TRC digital media assignment, we got to pick a call to action and made a poster for it. the poster included the detailed call to action, a digital drawing or artwork, photos (if wanted),And a bit more overall information on the call to action. i picked number #73 - We call upon the federal government to work with churches, Aboriginal communities, and former residential school students to establish and maintain an online registry of residential school cemeteries, including, where possible, plot maps showing the location of deceased residential school children. the graphic i have made for this is Pope francis who was greeted by George Arcand, Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations. this took place in Edmonton, Alberta.
George Lucas Sculpture
For this assignment we were told to create some type of create, but just the head of it, the medias i used were clay, acrylic paint, and a clear gloss that i put on after, which gave it that shiny look. i dont have progress pictures but i can expain the steps i used to create this, first we spent around a day to plan our sculptures, which was 3 drawings all of the same thing but at different angles. we got these checked by our teacher and then we got the bases on which we would make the heads on, this started with a few pieces of paper towel so that when these were put in the kiln, there would be room after for the clay to sit nicely on the stand and not to tight. after around a week we finished the clay base and they went in the kiln for another week. once they cooled we got to take them out and start painting. once the actual clay was painted, we painted the stand that its on black, and some of them have a clear coating on them. if you look closely on mine, you will see that this clear coat started to bubble on the hair which i find looks cool as it gives it more texture.
